What is occupational therapy (OT)?

Occupational therapy (OT) helps you do the everyday things that matter to you, such as looking after yourself, getting around, working, studying and enjoying hobbies.

An occupational therapist looks at what's making things hard and finds ways to make them easier. That might mean teaching new ways of doing things, recommending equipment, or suggesting changes to your home.

OTs also write the assessments and reports that are often needed for your NDIS plan, equipment and home modifications.

What we can help with

  • Strategies for self-care, like dressing, eating and showering
  • Recommending and trialling equipment
  • Home modification assessments

  • Reports for your NDIS plan review
